Colour Coding is an Australian indie pop band formally formed in 2011 based in Sydney. The band consists of Chris Holland and Tim Commandeur that was formerly member of the group Operator Please.[1] They split-off by taking in their identifiable forte band as cousins. Then the band frequently released their first EP Proof in March 2012 with lead single "Perfect" that was uploaded as free track online in November 2011.


Early life

Since at age 12, cousins Chris and Tim have had early recorded an extended play music in Tim's father's studio. Tim flairs drum and joined as a co-founder of Operator Please band in his high school journey.[1] Then, Chris entered as keyboard in 2008 which escorted them broad skills on music industry that includes recording, writing and touring concerts in different festivals, abroad and locals. Subsequently, in 2010, Chris and Tim recognize the label of their ambition to form a band as Colour Coding.[1]

2011-present: Proof

In September 2011, the band writes, demoed and recorded songs which is handled and produced by Hurley Studios in Sydney with DnR Music mixes. They made their first single Perfect and released online as free to upload track that's receive critical acclaim from different blogs and renown websites.[2] The track was then added to the fourth digital release by New York label Cosine Records in the US.[1]

In March 2012, the band announced their EP album titled Proof and made introduce to their concerts.[1]
