Merger proposal

I propose that Oracle E-Business Suite be merged into Oracle Applications. I think that there is sufficient overlap between the two articles to justify the merge (most of what's in the EBS article is already contained in Apps article), and neither article is sufficiently bulky to make such a merge problematic. Beyond that, the EBS article is at best going to be sparse and read like an ad even when the contents meet guidelines. May as well clean up. gloin (talk) 19:59, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Disagree Oracle E-Business Suite is one specific application from Oracle, though it does have a number of modules, which can lead to some confusion. Other Oracle applications include Hyperion, UPK, and OBIEE. These can work with EBS, but are not truly part of it. • Support As EBS is part of Oracle Applications, so I suggest we can merge both and make EBS a section in Oracle Application article rather than it to be a different article. Charandeep S. 09:32, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
