Author Jeff Chang chronicles the history of hip hop in the book Can't Stop, Won't Stop: A History of the Hip Hop Generation. Winner of the American Book Award with an introduction by DJ Kool Herc. The book covers the evolution of hip hop from it musical beginnings in the South Bronx to the contemporary global impact of hip hop activism.
