Light curve characteristics
It would be nice to explain what sets Cepheids apart from other variable stars. I have read (in Modern Theories of the Universe from Herschel to Hubble) that what characterises a Cepheid is its light curve, with a relatively sharp and a slower decline. Can someone elaborate more? CielProfond (talk) 01:15, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
