Python Tools for Visual Studio (PTVS) is a plug-in for Visual Studio used to provide support for programming in Python. It supports IntelliSense, debugging, profiling, MPI cluster debugging, and more. It is an open source project released under the Apache License, 2.0, and is developed primarily by Microsoft.
