The OpenGL Architecture Review Board (ARB) is an independent consortium that governs the OpenGL specification. It was formed in 1992, and defines the conformance tests, approves the OpenGL specification and advances the standard.

As of November 2004, the members are 3Dlabs, Apple Computer, ATI, Dell, IBM, Intel, Nvidia, SGI and Sun Microsystems. Microsoft was originally a member, left in March 2003.

The group meets regularly every three months. Any company can apply for membership through an application.
