Consider reading up on Dr. Waldinger's work on Adult Development. He is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, Principal Investigator of the Close Relationships Project, and Co-Director of the Study of Adult Development at Brigham and Women's Hospital. His research focuses on how intimate relationships are shaped by and shape our experiences of mental and physical health.(MKTownley (talk) 04:19, 29 June 2011 (UTC)).

Hey classmate! I edited your article a little bit. I fixed a grammatical mistake, and Robert J. Waldinger doesn't have a page on Wikipedia, so your link was red and didn't work, so I took it out. Good job! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hhearst (talk • contribs) 02:32, 29 July 2011 (UTC) (talk
This article lacks a good format, sufficent information on possible causes for the disorder, or possible medical help for the disorder. If I were to edit this page I would start with reformating and adding correct information from accredited soureces.--Troywj22 (talk) 01:24, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I am Marina and I am part of a group of students from Florida International University who are working in an assignment to revise and expand this article. We propose to make the following changes and additions: Change the introduction so that it provides an easier and more descriptive introduction for the topic of adult development and the rest of the wiki article. Expand on each of the metatheories since understanding the theoretical frameworks is important to better understand how research approaches the study of development in adulthood. Add a section describing the major theories (Biological and Connectionist) that are used to approach the study of adulthood, and describe the major ideas behind each one in order to further elaborate on adult development's history and study. Add examples of some of the most prominent programmed theories and error theories, as well as brief descriptions of each in order to show the differences in both theories regarding aging and it's interaction with biological and environmental variables. Add a section for sociocultural theories so that to highlight on the different kinds of "stages of life" that famous theorists have proposed. Add a section of Life satisfaction as it describes a more spiritual and positive aspect of aging. Add a section where aging is defined and categorized in relationship to adult development, in order to show how aging effects the development throughout an adult's life. Discuss the different illnesses associated with aging so that to educate the reader on the negative effects of aging on the human body and mind. Move the "Studies" section to the end of the Wiki article because it would be an efficient way to end the article with current studies being done in the field of adult development and the future of the study, as well as adding a few sentences about the future of adult development and the furthering of research that is needed. Constructive feedback on these potential changes would be very much appreciated, Thanks in advance, MTmarc (talk) 02:28, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
