The Algorithm is a music project of the French Toulouse sedentary musician Rémi Gallego. It combines electro with features of Progressive Metal . Chose the name The Algorithm Gallego to highlight the complexity and its electronic music in general. [1]


After Rémi Gallegos former band Dying Breath disbanded, he decided in 2009 to look for potential members for a new band to go that focus, inspired by the band The Dillinger Escape Plan , to Mathcore should be. After a futile search for new members, Gallegos began with his guitar and a digital audio workstation to produce his own music. [1] In December 2009 and July 2010, he released two demo tapes The Doppler Effect and CRITICAL.ERROR which reports on its website have been released for free download. Gallegos announced in late 2010 that he on a new EP by the name of identity work, but this was never completed. In addition, he prepared himself for the first live performance.
