ALGOL 60 implementations include compilers, interpreters and translators. Sometimes a particular implementation has more than one of these capabilities.

Test for conforming implementations include:

• support for Call by name
• ability to run the original Man or boy test source code.
• other features peculiar to ALGOL 60;

These implementations closely adhered to ALGOL 60's precise definition by the IFIP Working Group 2.1.
