As part of Texas Instruments’ Design Network, Anaren Integrated Radio (AIR) modules were developed to be a low-power RF capability solution to be used in various industries. Each AIR module incorporates a Texas Instruments low-power RF transceiver chip and is compatible with all TI-approved software stacks. AIR modules are in compliance with applicable regulatory standards (including FCC, IC, and ETSI).[1] Anaren's AIR module work under the aegis of TI's Designers Network.[2]

Recent AIR Modules

In December 2012, Anaren released a line of AIR modules in compliance with Texas Instruments's low-power ZigBee standard.[3] In February 2013, Anaren announced a partnership with Emmoco, Inc. to develop a custom AIR module. The partnership is a joint effort to develop a wireless standard for BLE applications.[4]
