Some people from the technical committee of MESA are currently reviewing the text of this Wiki. We intend to start editing soon.

I'm in touch with an expert that has volunteered to help improve this Wiki, though his contributions will only be done through Word - hence why I'm here to help. Once we get a draft together, I'll post it on my Talk page first for others to take a look at.

I'd like to know the function of the MES, as understood by it's operator, but in the language that the factory HR manager could easily understand.
Can I suggest considering inclusion of some mix of the following? Perhaps:
- "work-in-process on a factory floor."
- "MES keeps track of all manufacturing information in real time, receiving up-to-the-minute data from robots, machine monitors and employees." Techtarget
- balancing scarce resources to create products and value for customers
Or perhaps by completing the following statement: Managers of manufacturing plants use MES to ... wcrosbie (talk), Melbourne, Australia 09:22, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
