"Same Script, Different Cast" is a 2000 single released as a duet between American R&B singers Whitney Houston and Deborah Cox. It was viewed by some as a response to Brandy & Monica's 1998 hit, "The Boy Is Mine", though in this case, Houston, playing the former lover of Cox's fiancee, tries to warn Cox of her former lover's hurtful ways though Cox refuses to acknowledge it.
