It might be useful to link the phrase "interface text" in this message to Wikipedia:MediaWiki namespace. Thanks – 81.153.158.137 11:48, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

checkY Done. --ais523 14:33, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Add box

{{editprotected}} Please add the following:

It is the same box as {{explanation}}, however there is a pointer to the talk page. Reason: The user should be informed when he tries to edit the page, not only when he goes to the talk page. Thanks, --Church of emacs (Talk) 13:44, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Done, but switched to fmbox . — Carl (CBM · talk) 22:53, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest to use the same text as on {{interface explanation}}, i.e. change the text "This interface message is documented on its manual page" to "This interface message or skin may be documented on MediaWiki.org or TranslateWiki." Or at least include a link to the qqq. Thank you, SPQRobin (talk) 12:30, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fixes and update

See recent changes on Commons (talk for their rationale). Also, shouldn't the template be categorised? --Nemo 09:08, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: per my comment at Template talk:Interface explanation. About the categories - if you know what categories to add and where, feel free to make another request or reopen this one. Best — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 17:57, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, please fix the sitename though: it's translatewiki.net. Thanks, Nemo 13:50, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
