TSG Based on a Real Book

I actually believe that the ghostbuster's TSG is based off of an actual book that was written by a supposedly insane french man sometime during the 1800's. I don't think that the GB's version is supposed to be the actual version of the book, but simply inspired by it. I have read about it from several sources before, but couldn't find one upon a quick search just now, as the GB name has sort of zerged the internet. I'll keep looking and post something here if I find something later on. Does anyone else know anything about this?--Quiltways 19:29, 1 December 2011‎

I removed the following:

''Tobin's Spirit Guide'' has become so famous that several nonfictional books have been released using the title ''Tobin's Spirit Guide''.<ref>[http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=tobin%27s+spirit+guide&x=0&y=0 Books with the title ''Tobin's Spirit Guide'' at amazon.com]</ref>

What part of any of that is proper? Please explain. As for how to save this article, research the following:
  • Tobin's Spirit Guide by West End Games- It was a officially licensed version of it. Tobin's Spirit Guide is fiction. You can find a pdf of it on fan site "Ghostbusters International".
  • Ghostbusters Wiki-Tobin- No you can't use it as a reference or copy it, but read it and look over "References" and "Appearances" to write a more knowledgeable article.
Anyways, I can report that the reason they had referenced to Ghostbusters Wiki earlier in the year, was because they planted false information there, much like here at this article. The people doing this made the book in question. Devilmanozzy (talk) 06:45, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
