Colin Robbins (software engineer)

Colin Robbins is a technologist, specialising in network protocols, security engineering and software engineering.

Colin Robbins[1][2] holds a BSc, Computer Science & Electronic Engineering, with first class honours, from University College London

In his early career developed the Quipu / X.500 elements of the ISODE (ISO Development Environment), and went on to become the custodian of the open source platform. During this time many papers[3] were written on distributed directory systems.

He joined Nexor[4] in 1990, and was appointed Technical Director in 2008.

Colin Robbins is co-chair of the Information Assurance Collaboration Group (IACG)
