SPPA-T3000
SPPA-T3000 is a process control system for power plants developed by Siemens, and is the successor to the SPPA-T2000. In contrast to previous process control systems, SPPA-T3000 does not use bus protocols for data transfer such as Profibus, Modbus or LON. It uses modern computer technology instead, specifically TCP/IP ethernet-based networking. This translates to a larger benefit: SPPA-T3000 is a software based solution, and is therefore cross-compatible with many different types of hardware.
