Shingo Nishimura (西村 真悟, Nishimura Shingo; born July 7, 1948) is a Japanese politician, an independent and a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Sakai, Osaka and graduate of Kyoto University Faculty of Law he was elected to the Diet for the first time in 1993 after an unsuccessful run in 1992.

Right-wing positions

He was a supporter of right-wing filmmaker Satoru Mizushima's 2007 revisionist film The Truth about Nanjing, which denied that the Nanking Massacre ever occurred.[1]
