The Traffic Operational Command Unit (CO17 from its Central Operations designation) is a traffic police unit of the London Metropolitan Police that polices the London road network. It has been in existence since 1930, when Motor Traffic Patrols were set up at police stations.

Its officers, who can be distinguished by the white covers worn over their uniform caps, work out of one of six Traffic Garages situated in Central London, Wembley, Wimbledon, Catford, Hampton and Romford.
