Smithsonian Institution Archives Edit-a-Thon and Meetup!

Who should come? You should. Really.
She Blinded Me with Science: Smithsonian Women in Science Edit-a-Thon will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Smithsonian Archives in Washington, D.C. This edit-a-thon will focus on improving and writing Wikipedia content about women from the Smithsonian who contributed to the sciences. It will be followed by a happy hour meetup! We look forward to seeing you there!

...and if you do not live in the Washington, D.C. area, please forgive the intrusion and you can delete this invite! Sarah (talk) 18:16, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Happy editing

Hello. Please refer to your request on my talk page and my reply: [1]. Happy editing. --Bhadani (talk) 04:37, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Note

Hi, Hello, I'm a Wikipedian!, you'll likely not be pleased about this but I have suppressed a number of edits to your userspace which reveal too much personally identifiable information about yourself. I've done this per policy and for your own protection and safety on-line as you are a self-declared minor. I'm really sorry about that and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add it. For some useful information on privacy and safety, take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages - Risker (talk) 03:57, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:DBZ2013poster.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:DBZ2013poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:37, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:DBZ2013poster.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:DBZ2013poster.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:32, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

DBZ poster

Hello.

What would you think if I were to add both posters in this link instead of the one found in Dragon Ball Z (2013 film). If you don't like it, can I add the same poster with higher resolution? Best, ComputerJA (talk) 09:03, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No, because the image on the article is more official. However, I will let you upload a higher-res version. --Hello, I'm a Wikipedian! (talk) 20:50, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
