theScore Inc. is a Canadian digital media company. It operates the website theScore.com; mobile properties including ScoreMobile, ScoreMobile FC, and SportsTap;[1] and a 20% stake in mobile and web development firm NuLayer.[2].

The company was spun-out from Score Media, which held the above assets along with broadcast properties including The Score Television Network, immediately prior to Rogers Communications's acquisition of the latter company (currently in a blind trust pending approval for the sale of the broadcast properties by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission). As a result of the transaction, former shareholders of Score Media received one share of the new company for each share held in Score Media, meaning that Score Media founder John Levy and his family is the largest single voting shareholder in the company (as they were previously with Score Media), though Rogers received additional shares yielding an ownership stake of 11.8%.[3][4]

The company is to be listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in the near future, with an as-yet-undetermined ticker symbol.[5]
