Environment and Behavior is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers in the fields of psychology and environmental studies. The journal's editor is James A. Caporaso of the University of Washington. It has been in publication since 1969 and is currently published by SAGE Publications.

Scope

Environment and Behavior publishes papers which examine the relationship between human behavior and the environment. The journal covers research topics such as environmental outcomes, process-linking environments and behaviors that support or thwart human well-being.

Abstracting and indexing

Environment and Behavior is abstracted and indexed in, among other databases: SCOPUS, and the Social Sciences Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2010 impact factor is 1.921, ranking it 25 out of 120 journals in the category "Psychology, multidisciplinary"[1] and 18 out of 77 journals in the category "Environmental Studies".[2]
