Electro-Optic Sensor in Intra-Body Communication:

Electro-Optic Sensor contains an optical component that creates a modulation indication, an interferometer that combines an acoustic / auditory / aural / sound signal, bring to mind by a pulsed laser with the modulation indication to down-convert the acoustic indication to lower frequencies and a photo-detector that detects the down-converted indication.

Use of Electro-Optic Sensor in Human Area Networking Technology:

There are three major aspects in Electro-Optic Sensor:

It can calculate electric fields from a Device Under Test (DUT) without communicating it that reduces measurement troubles.

Special extensive volume calculation is possible.

It helps single node transmission dimension that is autonomous of the ground body, which is very important trait in the present perspective environment.

Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) employed the last trait to generate an intra-body communication receiver for the human area networking technology that is named RedTacton.

Electro-optical sensors are electronic detectors that convert light, or a change in light, into an electronic signal. They are used in many industrial and consumer applications, for example:
