Complex wavelet transforms using continuous wavelets predate this by some way and are still widely used. Might be worth a mention. I went to one of Nick's lectures as a grad student and was very upset to find no discussion of continuous wavelets. Jon Harrop 13:23, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
