Despite reading the link at Template_talk:Citation/core#treatment_of_origyear_parameter give in the edit summary, I still don't understand why origyear is indented in the documentation. Even if "origyear does not show if date/year not defined", it seems to me that origyear should be unindented with a note added to its description that it doesn't show if date and year are not defined. Under the current indenting scheme, it seems that origyear should only be used if date is not used. Jason Quinn (talk) 04:37, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
