About Page Curation
Curating new pages is a hard job, but an important one. Page Curation tries to make it easier.
Article feedback is found at the bottom of many Wikipedia articles; it is a simple form that readers can use to submit suggestions for improvement. (See screenshot below.) These suggestions are then reviewed by Wikimedia contributors, who can identify and take action on useful feedback -- while ignoring or removing bad submissions. For more information on using the feedback form, check our help page.
Data gathered so far shows that many of these feedback posts are useful - they often include helpful suggestions for improvement, questions about the topic, or praise for the authors. You can read more about the research here. At the moment, the software is only enabled on under 10 percent of articles - the rest of Wikipedia is using version 4 - but it is expected to be available on all Wikipedia articles in the third quarter of 2012.
