Technical Report Archive & Image Library (TRAIL)

Technical Report Archive & Image Library (TRAIL) is a project of the University of Arizona and the Center for Research Libraries (CRL) to digitize, preserve, and make available to the public technical reports published before 1976 by agencies of the United States government.[1][2]

Currently available report series include U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, Civil Effects Test Operations (AEC-CEX); U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, Lovelace Foundation for Medical Education and Research (AEC-LF); U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, Health and Safety Laboratory (AEC-HASL); U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, Radiation Instruments Branch (AEC-RIB); U.S. National Bureau of Standards, Monographs; and U.S. Bureau of Mines Bulletin. [3]

History of the Project

Maliaca Oxnam at the University of Arizona received funding in 2006 from the Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA) to start the project in collaboration with CRL.[4]
