The Berkeley Open System for Skill Aggregation (BOSSA) is a software framework for distributed thinking,[1] using volunteers on the Internet to perform tasks that require human intelligence, knowledge, or cognitive skills. The project was started by David P. Anderson, of the University of California, Berkeley, who also worked on the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing and Stardust@home.
