In the field of database computing, Oracle Advanced Security extends Oracle Net Services to provide network security, enterprise-user security and public-key infrastructure security to users of Oracle databases.[1]
History
Former incarnations of Oracle Advanced Security include Secure Network Services and Advanced Network Services, dating back to Oracle database Release 7.[2]
