Saint Modest

Saint Modest or in Latin sanctus Modestus, can refer to any of the following saints:

• Saint Modestus, legendary educator of St. Vitus, martyr under Diocletian (circa AD 304) - see also Sts. Vitus, Modestus, and Crescentia; feast on June 15
• Saint Modestus, deacon, martyr by burning on Sardinia in AD 303; feast on February 12
• Saint Modest, bishop of Trier, †489
• Saint Modestus, presumably Irish, Apostle of Carinthia, dispatched as regionary bishop by the benedictine Abbot-bishop of Salzburg, Virgil; died circa 772; feast on February 5
• Saint Modestus of Jerusalem
• Saints Tiberius and Modestus, martyrs at Agde under Diocletian; especially venerated in the diocese of Montpellier
