Elementary School Classroom Magazines
Weekly Reader – grade-appropriate magazines for students in grades Pre-K–6 that generally cost less than 20¢ per student, per issue, and are designed with learning in mind. High-interest content builds children’s general knowledge, reinforces the literacy scope and sequence used in the classroom, and aligns with national standards. Colorful photos engage students and make learning fun. Weekly Reader helps students read, write, and learn every day while reinforcing themes and skills taught in basal reading programs.
Weekly Reader Spanish/English Editions – written in both Spanish and English, with two separate editions—one for K–1 and one for grades 2 and up. These editions, adapted from the core English-only Weekly Reader magazines, provide a solid educational and cultural basis to facilitate Spanish speakers’ transition to English.
