Mines and mining

I'd like to see a Mines and mining stub. There doesn't seem to be any existing stub category remotely applicable. The closest are geology and engineering, which really aren't that close. There is a WikiProject Mining. How about {{Mines-mining-stub}}? --Bejnar (talk) 08:31, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

I see that Template:Mining-stub has been around since January 2008. Funny that that stub type is not listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types which supposedly lists all stub types. Category:Stub categories is useless for looking up a stub, although I see, in retrospect, that Template:Mining-stub is listed under Category:Geology stubs and Category:Industry stubs. I do think that my proposal is a better title, but the {{Mining-stub}} should work well. So how does a stub from January 2008 get listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types? Should Mining have a co-equal status with Agriculture under Commerce? --Bejnar (talk) 22:33, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
