== Yeah,I am sanjibsen chamling

This is funny. All over the site, I see "Wikipedia is the encyclopedia you can [edit] You can make a difference!" and "we need you". That is, you NEED left wing, liberal Saul-Alinsky type propaganda bots to lock down stories from those who would spread the truth. All it takes is 3 like-minded socialists and any dissenting facts are eliminated, the user banned with "straw man" or "sock puppet" excuses that are parroted by the sheeple who would dream to be admins. 64.53.136.28 (talk) 04:12, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not only articles, but also policies and practices, are open to change. It's important in seeking change to present your viewpoints clearly and civilly, to avoid others losing sight of your argument and focusing instead on your demeanor. Assuming you are not blocked, see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution for some suggested avenues for dealing with other editors and Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines for where and how to suggested changes to policies. If you are blocked, see Wikipedia:Appealing a block. --Maggie Dennis (WMF) (talk) 14:03, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Annoying Float

Notwithstanding the previous chap's impressive anti-liberal, anti-socialist, anti-leftwing, anti-bot, anti-etcetera rant, I would like to submit to your consideration the possibility that the "Improve this page" float that brought me here might be distracting if not downright annoying and from both usability and courtesy point of views, at a minimum, there should be an option to "close" the float and keep it closed at least for the rest of the user's session, same as the nagbanners that appear at the top during donation season.

For now, the only way of getting rid of the floats for me is blocking Wikipedia.org in NoScript, which causes loss of other functionality.

Ta much, tovarishchi.

Hi. :) This is simply an editing tutorial to which people who use the Article Feedback Tool are directed; I'm afraid that leaving a note here about the Feedback Tool may not attract attention from the people working on that project. I've copied over your note to Wikipedia talk:Article Feedback Tool; you may want to keep an eye out there for any replies. --Maggie Dennis (WMF) (talk) 14:47, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Update the images used

The images for the three buttons are of seriously poor quality. The Wikipedia logo depicted is the old one and the pictures look horribly pixelated. I'm also pretty sure that one of the fonts there is closed-source, hence not appropriate for usage here.

We must not give new users a bad impression. Polish the introduction as much as possible and increase uptake in editing.--Yannis A. | 01:22, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good suggestions :). I'll poke the author and see if she has spare time (the answer is probably "no", in which case I'll call in some favours with our UI designers). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 11:51, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
