R. Lewis Cordell is a writer, teacher, counselor, professor, and explorer. He began his career as a teacher in 1990. He joined the College of Education faculty at a private university in San Diego in 2000. R. Lewis Cordell considers himself a perpetual student who is chasing excellence in education. He writes for an audience of his graduate students who are entering the filed of education and his fellow teachers in the public schools. He believes that teaching is the noblest profession in the world. He and his wife split their time between Maui, HI and San Diego, CA.
