What you should do

  • Feature specific tips and detailed ways to improve an article - e.g. "Please add to the article Angry Birds that the app uses Lua to save its settings."
  • Mark comments as resolved comments if they have been resolved, and possibly link the diff of the resolution.
  • Hide unmeaningful spam - e.g. "Hi, I like Airbus 380s" on the page RuneScape.
  • Hide profanity - e.g. "F**k you stupid WikiPedianz".
  • Hide foreign languages unless you know what it means - e.g. “你好,谢谢维基百科!”.
  • Hide (and request oversight) of comments containing emails. - e.g. "Email me at fdouglas@douglasindustri.es plz 4 more info".
  • Hide (and request oversight) of libelous comments containing insults and fake facts towards an organization or person. - e.g. "Justin Bieber broke up with Selena Gomez' wife."
  • Hide (and request oversight) of links containing images that may be pornographic.
  • Hide pointless opinions - e.g. "I think Netflix should be bought by Blockbuster"

What you should not do

  • Do not hide useful feedback in all caps - e.g. "YOU SHOULD PUT ON THERE THAT RUNESCAPE ADDED MICROTRANSACTIONS."
  • Do not request oversight on foreign languages you cannot understand, unmeaningful spam, profanity and pointless opinions.
  • Do not hide useful comments that may actually contribute to the making of the article. If unsure, check what the article is about before coming to your conclusion.
  • Do not feature spam comments, profane comments, foreign language comments (no matter what), and pointless opinions.
  • Do not hide comments that you do not like.
  • Do not feature comments only because you like them.
  • Do not mark comments as resolved comments that weren't resolved.
  • Do not unfeature comments after they are resolved.
  • Do not mark comments as resolved comments if you want to "hide" it somehow.
