HCI Category

The Interactive evolutionary computation article has its own category, and is also categorized under User interface techniques. The Interactive evolutionary computation category is a subcat under the User interface category, which is one level under the HCI supercat. The HCI top level category had sprawled out to nearly 200 articles at one point, which is why it has been split out and refined. Writers on this topic, please review the HCI cat hierarchy for reference. Thanks. -- Dx 17:58, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your repeated category changes here are inappropriate. This comment is also inconsistent with your own behavior as you are the person who removed IEC category from HCI category on January 16 [1]. I reverted your change there because you agree that IEC is part of HCI here. 'User interface' is obviously inappropriate and can't be a compromise. While it is true that IEC has user interface, as any other HCI method, you can't say that IEC is a user interface, so you can't place it into that category. IEC is a way to organize human-computer interaction in an evolutionary way. I understand that you want to improve the classification, but please try to not make it worse. 130.126.81.217 20:20, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Innovation?

It's not clear to me why this article is in Category:Innovation. Is it because this is a method of innovation? Or is it because this HBGA is an innovation? ---- CharlesGillingham (talk) 18:17, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm removing this from Category:Innovation for now. Feel free to restore it if I am wrong. ---- CharlesGillingham (talk) 23:28, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Robotics

Why is this part of the robotics project? I don't see anything in the article that has anything to do with robotics. --Benjamin James Bush (talk) 04:44, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
