The Party for Democracy and Development in Unity (Partij voor Democratie en Ontwikkeling in Eenheid) is a political party in Suriname. At the last legislative elections (25 May 2010) the party won 12.095 votes and one seat in The National Assembly. The political leader Carl Breeveld is DNA member since 2010. The party is a reformist party, it will strengthen human rights and seeks to promote democratic and constitutional spirit in Suriname. DOE is known as a party not participating in polarization, but goes for the national interest.
