To use QRpedia:

  1. find the Wikipedia article you want to link to
  2. copy its URL
  3. go to http://qrpedia.org/ - do not use any other QR code generator (they won't give your users the multi-language options)
  4. paste the URL into the box
  5. click on the image and save it
  6. import the image into a word processor programme or graphics package or use a
  7. (optionally) add text labels
  8. alternatively open the downloaded images in a program that can print several images at once as thumbnails (eg Windows Photo Viewer)
  9. print the codes a minimum on 1 inch (2.5 cm) across, where possible 2 inches (5cm) is desirable to allow for distance and older smartphones with lower quality cameras
  10. display it in a suitable location
