Roderick Morris Farb, better known as Rod, was born __________ in Mobile, Alabama. An avid underwater photographer and shipwreck researcher. He was also the author of the books Shipwrecks: Diving the Graveyard of the Atlantic and Guide to Shipwreck Diving: North Carolina.

The Farb Monitor Expedition
June 1990: The first NOAA-permitted dives on the USS Monitor by private recreational divers. Rod was the first to dive the Monitor.
