Journal of Multivariate Analysis is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes applications and research in the field of multivariate statistical analysis. The journal publishes theoretical results as well as significant applications of new theoretical methods in the field. Some of the research areas covered in the aims and scope include asymptotic theory, Bayes models, cluster analysis, decision theory, discriminant analysis, distributions, estimation and hypothesis testing, factor analysis, measures of association, multidimensional scaling, multivariate ANOVA, sequential analysis, time series, and general multivariate methods.[1]

The 2010 impact factor is 1.007, and the five year impact factor is 1.179.[2]
