Cheap Time
Cheap Time is a Nashville, Tennessee based garage-rock band fronted by Jeffrey Novak.[1] The band, which formed in 2006, has toured with Jay Reatard, Yo La Tengo, and Guitar Wolf. They have released six 7" singles, and three studio albums on In The Red Records. Cheap Time (2008), Fantastic Explanations (2010), and Wallpaper Music (2012).[2]
Sound
Cheap Time mixes glamrock riffs, powerpop melodies with elements of punk rock. The band is heavily influenced by The Runaways, The Idle Race, Alex Chilton, early Redd Kross, The Quick, Sparks and Milk 'N' Cookies.[3]
