Two explosives

A quite interesting part is missing in the article so far: Stauffenberg initially had 2 packets of 1-kg explosives. After he had prepared the first one for the meeting, he was interrupted by Colonel Werner Vogel (not member of the plot, btw) who urged him to go to Hitler immediately, so Staffenberg couldn't prepare the second one. Then he made a big mistake: Instead of putting the "unprepared" explosive together with the primed one into the suitcase - the explosion of the first one would have caused the second one to explode anyway -, he returned the unprepared one to his assistant Haeften. Those two explosives together would have doubled the explosion power and most likely killed everyone in the room including Hitler.--Kompakt (talk) 21:59, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
