The Party for Liberty and Development (in French Parti pour les Libertés et le Développement or PLD) is a Chadian political party leaded by Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh. The main opposition party not based in the south of the country, it boycotted the last parliamentary election held in 2002, as it voiced doubts of a free and fair vote.
