The Union automatic revolver was a .32 calibre revolver of French origin but manufactured in the United States to the Lefever patent (US Patent 944448, 1909). It was similar in action to the Webley Fosbery automatic revolver, but had a shroud that protected the recoiling upper half from contact with the firer's hand[1].
