The Explosions in Dnipropetrovsk 2012 were a series of terrorist attacks[1] that occurred in the center of Ukrainian city Dnipropetrovsk on April 27, 2012. According to preliminary reports, 27 people were injured, including 9 children[2].
According to official data, there were four bombs in total.[3].
The news agency "Interfax" interviewed security experts, who concluded that the explosions were mostly likely caused by devices of a type called "bezobolonkovyi". According to these experts, the nature of injuries received by victims suggest that they were not caused by the devices directly. Instead they are more likely to be caused by the debris from the explosion, such as trash cans and other items.[4] .
