2012 Dnipropetrovsk explosions

On April 27, 2012 four explosions took place in the center of Dnipropetrovsk (along prospekt Karla Marksa, Bubushkin District),[1] another bomb was neutralized.[2] Three armored transporters (BTR) with Berkut militia patrolled the center of the city, another two were on the way from the outskirts.[3] Near a shopping center "Karavan" a shooting took place. Mobile phone service was turned off in center of Dnipropetrovsk.[4] Twenty seven people were hospitalized, nine out of which were wounded.[5] The Minister of Interior Zakharchenko left the Cabinet session for Dnipropetrovsk.[6]
RT reported contested numbers of explosions, with local sources estimating up to ten[7].
