The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), has become Canada's largest and most recognized outreach organization for promoting and creating activities and materials in mathematics and computer science. The CEMC is housed within the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. It was founded in 1995 with origins dating back to the 1960s.

The CEMC administers the Canadian Mathematics Competitions (CMC), written annually by over 200,000 students from around the world.[citation needed]

The contests are listed by grade below.

The CEMC also hosts the Canadian Computing Competition (CCC), which is offered at the Junior and Senior levels for all high school students.[citation needed]
