Rajadhani Institute of Engineering & Technology (RIET), established in 2009, is a private self-financing technical institution affiliated to the Kerala University, Trivandrum, Kerala, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education

Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology is the first higher educational institution promoted by the Indira Charitable trust whose inherent objective is to promote education, culture, health and welfare of the community.

The Trust aims to achieve its objective by establishing and managing institutions for technical education, medical and dental education, applied arts, technology and management and to provide needs-based training in engineering and technology in order to increase the employment prospects of the youth. The first venture in the field of higher education in engineering and technology is the establishment of RIET in a rural area.
