Public domain of Vatican writings

Willuconquer: Please note that Wikipedia policy on copyright does not include information obtained from Givernment websites. The vatican.va domain beingthe domain of the government of an independant state, it would not therefore be affected by copyright rules. Please note also that all sources and references are duely mentionned. Your statement concerning the public domain of Vatican writings may have merit. At the moment, however, I am uncertain. I think it will depend on whether these are works of the Holy See rather than the Vatican State. Their website seems to indicate ownership of all copyrights. I'll ask for some clarification of this from the Wikipedia copyright experts. I would suggest you wait with the reversions until the issue can be clarified by WP. — CactusWriter | needles 13:01, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jean-Marie Tillard

There is a dominican theologian named Jean-Marie Tillard who appears to have made significant contributions to the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. He might possibly deserve to be mentioned in a Wikipedia article. [1] ADM (talk) 06:29, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
