Python Tools for Visual Studio is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) used for programming in Python supporting intellisense, debugging, profiling, MPI cluster debugging, and more. PTVS is an open source project released under the Apache License, 2.0 and is developed primarily by Microsoft.
