Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering

"Tashkent Architectural Building Institute" was organized by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (№ 400, May 6, 1991) on the basis of Tashkent State Technical University. The official site of the Institute is: http://www.taqi.uz/ The Institute is the basic institution of higher education of the architectural and construction areas of education, responsible for implementing the objectives of this direction within the National program for cadres training. The Institute has the faculty of Architecture, Department of Building and Construction, Civil Engineering Faculty and the Faculty of Construction Management, as well as school and faculty of training, the department of International Relations. Full-time and part-time faculty offices train more than 3,000 students from 16 educational areas, which include 20 specialties. During training, students have the opportunity to get a deep theoretical knowledge and research skills. Scientific and educational work are in more than 200 highly qualified faculties. Research and teaching are trained through graduate school. Specialised unions operate for doctoral and master's theses in the field of architecture and construction.
Researches of the Institute are included in the State Science and Technology Plan of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Institute's specialists have been doing the projects of the design of public and residential buildings, disposal of industrial and agricultural wastes, development and production of efficient building materials and construction, to determine the earthquake resistance of buildings and constructions.There are many monographs, the collections of scientific papers, tutorials, and books published by faculty of the Institute.
